Aion Gladiator Tips
Although the Gladiator can use a large array of weapons, the defining weapons for this class are either the Greatsword or the Polearm. The most powerful skills are in these weapons. Polearms can do Area of Effect damage that hits multiple targets at once, but are generally slower than Greatswords. Greatswords do more damage, but also have knockback effects, which make a Greatsword equipped Gladiator very effective in PvP, as disabling an enemy in PvP, is almost as good as killing them.
Attack speed is very important for Gladiator. Always aim for attack speed on your equipment, on your weapons and armour. Your typical weapons of choice, Greatswords and Polearms are slow weapons, so to increase your dps, you need to increase the attack speed. For Amour, the Gladiators can wear all amours, from weak cloth to damage absorbing plate. Cloth is pointless on the Gladiators, and most Gladiators should go for plate, due to is resilience. But mail and leather can also be useful due to their evasive bonuses, which maybe useful in situations where it would be better not to get hit at all, rather than rely on the plate armour fending off the blow.
