If you've joined the club of Mafia Wars addicts, it is quite probable that you can't get enough of the game. It might sound a simple one-to-one online game, but it is far from it. The game can make you scratch your head on choices in: what should you purchase? Which quests should you take up? How to increase your level? There are so many alternatives that selecting the best one can be a daunting task in itself. So what should you do to master the fastest growing game on the internet?

1. The tactic to a successful mafia starts at the first step of creation of account itself. Choose the "Maniac" class when promoted to decide on what type of Mafia you wish to play with. Maniacs generate additional energy instead of cash or health, which is required in abundance to accomplish quests. Other things can be acquired subsequently.

2. Mafia War's protocols puts a restriction not only on the total number of Mafia's you can add to your account, but also on the specific number of Mafia's you need to have to buy special items like "Bloody Chainsaw" and "Mafia Mikes". So don't add contacts blindly.

• Attacking someone can earn you $70,000 maximum. If you find such a Mafia, keep attacking them more often then not.
• Try to keep your defense and attack points equal when not using experience to increase energy.
