WoW Engineering In PvP
Engineering is a profession that many people would not choose, because it is not very profitable and is considered to be a big money sink, and can also be slow to level compared to other crafts. However, if you the patience and the gold required, engineering can be very rewarding for pvp, especially in the battlegrounds.
Below is a list of the best engineering pvp items, that will give you some great advantages in your battles.
Springy Arachnowave
Although the Arachnoweave added to a cloak does not seem like a major advantage at first, it does shine in battlegrounds where there is high ground to navigate, such as the cliffs in Arathi Basin. The parachute removes all falling damage, so if your wanted to get from the blacksmiths to the gold mine quickly, you just jump off the cliff above the gold mine with your parachute on.
In addition, with a paracute, you do not travel vertically down, as you when jumping normally, but you also travel horizontally in the direction you were moving before the jump. This means if you run from the lumber mill towards the blacksmiths, and enable your parachute in mid air, you should be able to float down to theblacksmiths. You can ensure that this always happens if you use a mount instead of your feet.

Nitro boosts
This is an enhancement for your boots that will make you run very fast for 5 seconds, and is on 3 minute cool-down. If you ever was in a sticky situation where multiple opponents were beating down on you, this is a great way to quickly get out. You can leave them standing still, with a trail of fire and smoke behind you.
Also it's a great way of catching up with thosed pesky rogues or annoying hunters, as you can still attack with the nitro boots enabled. One thing point to remember is that if you have the flag in the Warsong Glutch battleground,a you will drop the flag when you enable your nitro boots.
Sonic Booster/Noice Machine Trinket
This trinket will give you stamina, but also has a proc that increases your spell or attack power by a significant amount. When it procs you will notice some great increases in damage. You can equip two of these, since they are not unique, but the only benefit is the increase in stamina, as the proc chance will be the same.
Mind Amplification Dish
This enchantment adds 45 stamina and a mind control ability to your head gear with a 10 minute cool-down. The mind control ability allows you to take control of an enemy as a pet, however the best feature of this is that they immediate run to your location. This is greatly powerful in Warsung Glutch as you grab the flag carrier and make them run towards you.
Also, there some opponents who love camping the graveyards, especially walocks, who stay at the bottom of graveyard casting dots on players who have just spawned. With the mind control unit, you can pull them up to you and finnish them off quickly. Although you probably end up doing it only once in the battleground, you will leave with with great satisfaction after killing them with great vengeance.
The same tatic can be applied to opponents sitting at graveyards, who can be pulled down to use.
Hand Mounted Pyro Rockets
With this engineering enhancement you can add missiles to any glove. Some melee classes, such as warriors, have very little range attack skills, so the rockets are a great and powerful way of adding a range attack. In the pre-80's battle ground the rockets can crit for as much as 2000 plus damage. Excellent for finishing of those opponents who try to run away from you.

Gnomish Lightning Generator
If you find the rocket launchers useful, you will also find the lightning trinket beneficial for the same reasons, and also gives you 84 critical rating. It has a 45 second reuse cool-down, but you can use the lightening trinket 10 second after the rockets. Which maybe short enough for some drawn out fights.
Engineering is great for pvp, although it does not give you over to top uber equipment, it offers you skills that are not typically available to your class. A well equipped engineer can smile with glee, as a well placed rocket finishes off someone who thought he got away, or can laugh as he manages to get away from a swarm of enemies with the nitro boosts.
